When one hears of an Islamic economy or Islamic finance, the basic knowledge that people have of any Islamic economy is of Islamic banking. However, few people are aware, that the entire economy of a country can run through the principles laid down in Holy Quran, Hadith and Islamic legal rulings. However, there are many few individuals, companies and governments that have taken the initiative to run the economy.
There is so much to learn and implement. For example, many a times it is said that blessing are in the morning time that is soon after Fajar prayers. One should not sleep after Fajar prayers and go to work because Allah will pour blessing in any work done during these blessed hours that is soon after Fajar prayers. Apart from that, if one leave great sins such as bribery, corruption and other things in business and trading, many people will start receiving jobs on merit, education will be valued and poor people will not be suppressed. There will be equality and justice which will lead to a harmonious society on the whole.
There are many products and services that have been launched according to some of the principles of Holy Quran such as Islamic banking, Islamic insurance, Islamic micro finance, Islamic saving certificates and many other such services and investment opportunities for the economy that are moving towards service sector.
It is just that local people need to corporate with these sectors and industries so that it can lead towards success.
